Description
Semi Skilled Electrical Assembler
Location: Heckmondwike
Hours: Monday - Friday, (phone number removed)pm
Overtime: Paid at 1.5x
Starting Salary: £13p/h
About the electrical assembler role
We are seeking an Electrical Assembler to join our market-leading and rapidly growing company. You will assist with the manufacture of specialist vehicles, focusing on electrical systems and installations.
This role is ideal for individuals with experience in electrics in any capacity. Full training will be provided within an in-house specialised training academy, so direct vehicle experience is not essential. It would also suit newly qualified electricians looking to build a career in the industry.
Key Responsibilities of the electrical assembler
Running wiring looms through vehicles
Terminating and connecting cables to electrical systems (e.g., lights, beacons, reversing cameras)
Splicing, trunking, and soldering
Supporting the assembly of specialist vehicle electrical systems
The successful candidate may have experience as:
Panel Wirer
Electrical Installation Engineer
Auto Electrician
CCTV/Alarm Engineer
Telematics Engineer
Or hold relevant NVQ qualifications / time-served experience.
