This lot will be auctioned via Iconic Auctioneers, The Iconic Motorcycle Sale at the NEC Classic Motor Show 2025 on Sunday the 9th of November, NEC, Birmingham, B40 1NT. , The 'Imola Project' machines were retro-styled race replicas based on the Ducati 900SS,Designed and built by Baines Racing, based at Silverstone Circuit, using high quality components,Fitted with race fairings and a replica fibreglass tank, custom Imola exhausts produced by Keihan along with a blue painted frame,This well known example is number two of the handful produced by Geoff Baines and was used in the initial catalogue photographs,Based on a 900SS that was UK registered new in January 1992,Complete with large history file containing numerous old MOTs, invoices from Made in Italy Motorcycles amongst others, original service/warranty booklet and old tax disc,Unused and dry stored for last few years so will need some recommissioning before road use,Correct numbers and presented in good overall condition,UK-registered on a current V5C,
