The Mapex M Series (Wine Red) drum kit is no longer in production and has become a collector's item.
The Mapex M Series is a widely regarded intermediate drum kit from the mid-to-late 2000s, known for offering professional-level features at an affordable price point. While discontinued, it remains a popular used option, often praised for its high-gloss lacquer finishes and sturdy hardware.
This 4-piece setup includes a 22"x18" bass drum, 10"x9" and 12"x10" rack toms and 14"x12" hanging floor tom. All shells have high-gloss transparent lacquer finishes. 100% Birch shells.
Shell Thickness: 6-ply, 7.2mm shells are standard, providing a punchy, resonant tone suitable for various genres.
Hardware: Features low-mass lugs and generally includes Mapex's robust, double-braced hardware, including the I.T.S. (Isolated Tom System) mount to improve resonance.
