Description
Hey there! We’re Close to the Sun, a London-based psych-rock band blending cinematic vibes with dark grooves and vintage energy. We’re currently working on our second album — our latest single “The Song of Nothing” is already spinning on several UK radios (including Deal Radio Kent) and receiving great reviews, being added on Spotify playlists.
We’re now looking for a committed, creative drummer who’s into building atmosphere as much as power. If you love Pink Floyd, Sabbath, Zeppelin, The Cure, Radiohead, you’ll probably get what we’re about.
• Rehearsals: twice a month in London (3h sessions - normally Tuesdays)
• Goal: live shows and finishing the album
• We value vibe and chemistry over perfection — if you’re passionate, let’s jam!
