e are currently seeking a skilled vehicle technician to join our Main dealer team In South croydon

Imi/nvq city and guilds light vehicle certification is required, As is a full uk driving licence and your own tools.

You must have main dealer experience for this role

This is a Monday - Friday role Monday Friday 8am - 5.30pm NO WEEKENDS

Salary for the vehicle tehcnician role is experience dependent but for the experience we require the salary will be betwenn £34,000 and £36000 plus bonus. Ote £40,000+

As a vehicle technician you will be responsible for conducting vehicle inspections and ensuring that they meet the required safety and environmental standards. This is a vital role in ensuring the safety of vehicles on the road.

Responsibilities of a vehcile technician

- Inspect vehicles for any defects or issues that may affect their roadworthiness

- Identify and report any faults or potential problems to customers

- Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to all makes and models.

Experience:

- Previous experience as a vehicle technician is essential

- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems

- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify potential issues or defects

Skills:

- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems

- Proficient in using hand tools for inspections and repairs

- Familiarity with power tools used in automotive maintenance
