Description

Our sister company, Morgan Ward NDT Ltd, has fast become one of the world’s most renowned providers of Non-Destructive Testing services to the aerospace and general engineering sectors. Enjoying the success of exponential growth, and with an ambitious and realistic expansion plan already in action, Morgan Ward NDT Ltd is recruiting for a Trainee NDT Technician to join its established team in Doncaster, South Yorkshire.

Having recently recruited new NDT employees across the group, Morgan Ward is in an unrivalled position to expand its team further and offer a rare opportunity to provide full investment for someone to commence their journey in NDT with the company. You’ll undertake training in multiple methods within the field of NDT, with a hands-on approach throughout your OJT (on the job training) and active involvement in learning inspection techniques within a blended environment.

You need to have the following:

* Ideally possess at least one year’s experience of working in a Part 145 organisation in any capacity, OR

* Possess work experience in an Aerospace or Engineering business, with a keen interest in pursuing a career in NDT OR

* Military personnel ready for resettlement in civilian life

* An analytical and methodical style of thinking, with exceptional communication skills, and the confidence to work both independently and as part of team

* Able to follow instructions and work closely with the company’s Level 2’s and Site Manager

* Full driver’s licence

As well as providing NDT support at the company’s Doncaster site, this position also brings exciting opportunities to travel the world, so it’s essential that applicants are willing to work away from home and also work unsociable hours – including nights and weekends – to meet customer needs. Due to EASA requirements, applicants must be age 19 and above to be considered for this position. xjnqpsq

This is a unique opportunity to be a part of a growing business that is committed to its people and customers, and a company that provides exceptional training to ensure that its staff reach their best potential. The position attracts circa £32kOTE, which includes a basic hourly rate (based on 40 hours p/week), overtime, and a discretionary annual bonus, and you can expect incremental pay increases throughout your training, too.

To forge your career in NDT and join one of the most renowned businesses in the field, please send your CV to Leanne Evans
