Serve as the main point of contact for customers regarding vehicle servicing, repairs, and maintenance

Greet customers professionally, ensuring they feel valued and confident

Clearly communicate available services, repairs, warranties, and additional products

Promote and upsell services, accessories, warranties, and loyalty programmes

Accurately document customer vehicle details, service requirements, and authorisations

Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business

Manage service and parts sales, ensuring adherence to warranty and promotional policies

Oversee accurate invoicing and job costing processes

Liaise with workshop staff to facilitate smooth scheduling and vehicle flow

Address customer queries and resolve issues promptly and professionally

Maintain accurate administration of appointments, paperwork, and customer records

Ensure reception areas are professional, clean, and well-staffedRequirements of a Service Advisor:

Excellent communication skills—verbal and written

Strong organisational abilities and high attention to detail

Customer-focused approach with a professional attitude

Proven experience as a Service Advisor or within automotive customer service roles preferred

Technical knowledge of vehicle servicing, repairs, and warranty procedures beneficial

Ability to process payments accurately and efficiently

Familiarity with computerised recording systems and reporting tools
