You'll be the key link between customers and the workshop, making sure everything runs smoothly and customer service stays top notch.

Key Responsibilities of a Service Advisor / Customer Service Advisor / Service Receptionist

Manage incoming service bookings and customer enquiries

Coordinate repair schedules and liaise with workshop staff

Advise customers on repair timelines, costs, and any additional work

Process paperwork accurately for job cards, invoicing, and warranty claims

Sell service plans and additional products when appropriate

Provide a high level of customer service at all times

Skills and Qualifications for a Service Advisor / Customer Service Advisor / Service Receptionist

Essential

Experience in a service advisor or customer-facing automotive role

Strong communication and organisational skills

Confident using computer systems and handling admin tasks

A proactive and customer-focused attitude

Desirable

Experience within a commercial vehicle or HGV environment

Kerridge or other DMS system knowledge

Full UK driving licence
