Description

Copello is seeking an experienced Senior Electronics Engineer to join a leading defence organisation in Buckinghamshire on an initial 6-month contract. This role will be instrumental in managing the development and delivery of advanced electronic sub-systems for defence applications.

Key Responsibilities Within This Role Include:

* Lead the design, development, and integration of electronic sub-systems.

* Perform testing, characterisation, and verification of prototype designs.

* Work hands-on with laboratory test equipment including VNAs, RF spectrum analysers, and oscilloscopes.

* Manage aspects of project engineering, ensuring electronic solutions meet performance, cost, and delivery requirements.

* Support system-level integration and troubleshooting of electronic designs.

* Deliver electronic subsystems from prototype through to production readiness.

The successful Electronic Engineer will require the following skills and experience:

* Proven background in electronic design engineering within RF, high-speed digital, or power supply electronics.

* Strong knowledge of RF technologies and RF antenna systems.

* Practical experience in the use of electronic test equipment (VNA, spectrum analysers, oscilloscopes).

* Previous involvement in the full product development lifecycle, from design through to verification and delivery.

* Ability to contribute to both technical engineering and project engineering activities.

* Experience within the defence or aerospace sector.

* Familiarity with relevant industry standards and compliance requirements.

The role will require the successful candidate to have active SC or be eligible for SC clearance.

The role will require onsite working for 4 days a week. Position is INSIDE IR35 and paying circa £80 per hour
