We are currently advertising on behalf of an Automotive commercial vehicle dealership who are currently recruiting for a Commercial Vehicle Service Advisor to assist in their busy Service Department in the Avonmouth area.

Our Motor Trade Client is seeking a Commercial Vehicle Service Advisor who is high performing and can provide only the best level of customer service.

Benefits:

Starting salary up to £32,598 per annum per annum.

Additional earnings can be made through commission earned from the selling of service contracts

22 days annual holiday allowance plus the 8 bank holidays rising to 25 after 5 years of employment, and then 27 after 10 years

Working hours are 40 hours per week between the opening hours of 7:00am-6:00pm Monday to Friday with 1 in 3 Saturdays 8:00am-1:00pmRequirements:

A working experience within a Service Advisor role

The ability to upsell on service work and service plans

Customer Focused and an excellent communicator

Familiarity with using Motor Dealership Database SoftwareDuties of role:

Correctly capturing all customer details and vehicle faults at the first point of contact.

Taking telephone bookings from customers and accurately loading them into the workshop.

Raising job cards and ensuring all necessary and compliant documentation forms parts of the job pack.

Informing customers of their ongoing vehicle status.

Entering additions/changes to our client's customer database.

Handing over finished vehicles to customers.

Giving customers detailed explanations on the extent of repairs.

Monitoring whether repairs are being carried out to the required delivery time.

Actively sell aftersales services to include Service Contracts.

Discussing and arranging payment with customers.

Booking in vehicles to ensure continuity of workshop loading.

Provide advice on warranties and service requirements.

In the case of legally required inspections, explain the necessary vehicle test requirements.

Arrange schedules for MOT/vehicle inspections.For your hard work, our client is offering a salary of up to £32598 with OTE of circa £35000.
