RESTORATION/REPAIR Technician

Role SUMMARY:

To support repairing, building and restoring classic Series Land Rovers and Defenders.

Working in a small team with the ability to manage your own projects and see jobs through.

Land Rover experience isn’t needed but would be an advantage.

Possibly suit a more mature person looking for a less time pressurised environment.

DUTIES:

General mechanical duties.

Diagnostics, inspection and repairs Of Vehicles

Strip and catalogue donor vehicles upon receiving.

Ground-up builds of Chassis, suspension, and Installation of drivetrain.

Body assembly post-paint.

Installation of new (pre-made) wiring looms.

Fitting Trim, lights, and Galv installation.

WHAT WE NEED

Candidates should have a good working Knowledge of Vehicle Mechanics

Classic vehicle experience would be an advantage

Ability to assess serviceability of components an advantage

You must have the ability to manage your own time and be able to plan and document individual vehicle builds

Welding and Fabrication an advantage but not essential

Ability to work to a high standard at all times.

Attention to detail is Paramount

Cleanliness in the workplace is important.

Formal qualification in Vehicle Mechanics would be an advantage but would not be considered essential
