Assistant Applications and Automation Specialist

Are you a tech-savvy problem solver with a passion for automation and modern workplace tools? This exciting role offers the chance to join a growing Information Management team, working across SharePoint, M365, Adobe and automation solutions to drive efficiency and improve processes.

About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Applications and Automation Specialist to support in all aspects of SharePoint management, Microsoft 365 applications, automation tools, and user training. You’ll play a key role in developing and maintaining automation workflows, managing bulk data uploads, and providing first-class application support to colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

*

Upload and manage data in SharePoint, including setting metadata and updating the intranet.

*

Provide user support, advice, and training across SharePoint and M365 apps (Power Automate, Power BI, MS Teams, MS Forms).

*

Develop and maintain automation using tools such as Power Automate, VBA, and PowerShell.

*

Migrate data from network drives to SharePoint.

*

Troubleshoot user access and application issues.

*

Support compliance checks to ensure system integrity.

*

Participate in process improvement initiatives for information management systems.

Skills & Experience Required:

*

Strong working knowledge of M365 applications and Adobe Sign.

*

Experience with automation tools (Power Automate, PowerShell, VBA).

*

Good Excel skills (Xlookups, Vlookups, data parsing, concatenation).

*

Understanding of programming concepts such as variables, loops, and arrays.

*

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

*

Strong communication and organisational skills.

Desirable:

*

Experience in SharePoint site design and administration.

*

Ability to resolve multi-factor authentication issues.

*

Previous experience in application training and user support.
