Dealership Driver (NOT A 9-5 JOB)

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and committed driver to join our growing car dealership.

This is a demanding role involving long-distance travel, short-notice collections and long hours. It is NOT a standard 9–5 driving job.

THE REALITY

You may be in the office one morning when a vehicle needs collecting from Scotland, Manchester, London or elsewhere in the UK.

You could have 20 minutes to get yourself and your buddy ready and get on the road.

You may collect 2 vehicles in one day and some days you could arrive home at 11pm, midnight or later.

If you need to be home at a fixed time every day, have regular commitments that prevent short-notice travel, or are looking for predictable hours, do not apply.

We expect a lot from our drivers — but we don't ask for anything we aren't prepared to do ourselves.

Prove your value, reliability and commitment, and you will be paid accordingly. We are looking for people who want to work hard and become valuable members of the business, not people who simply want to clock in and clock out.

REQUIREMENTS

Full UK driving licence.
Confident driving a range of vehicles.
Comfortable with long-distance UK travel.
Available for short-notice jobs.
Comfortable with early starts and late finishes.
Reliable, trustworthy and hardworking.
Good communication skills.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Previous dealership, auction or vehicle logistics experience is an advantage.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Collecting and delivering vehicles across the UK.
Travelling to customers, auctions, dealerships and service centres.
Moving vehicles between locations.
Inspecting vehicles and reporting damage/issues.
Completing collection and delivery paperwork.
Representing the dealership professionally.
Assisting with general vehicle logistics when required.
