Delightful Antique French Louis XVI Style Painted Marble Top Chest of Drawers– Great Condition.

Description

This wonderful and impressive original French antique style chest of drawers with marble top was restored and purchased from Christie's Auctions and was very expensive by a family who owned for years, so it was inspected and cleaned and is in a great used condition for its age, you will expect some minor dents, scratches, blemishes. Handcrafted from solid wood which is either oak or walnut, with some fine inlays & stunning details, pretty cabriole legs, and with heavy top marble

Featuring two medium and three larger drawers, with traditional dovetail joints, and metal components and handles, and a lock for all drawers, so there is plenty of storage inside.

Unsure of age but it seems from c1900

Approx. W: 120cm D: 44cm H: 91cm
