Overview Stanton Miller Recruitment is seeking an exceptional Residential Maintenance Engineer to support the smooth operation and upkeep of multiple ultra-high-net-worth private residences in London.

This is a highly varied, hands-on role requiring a skilled, multi-disciplinary engineer who can deliver discreet, efficient and first-class maintenance services within a luxury, client-facing environment. The successful candidate will take pride in ensuring all systems operate seamlessly, maintaining the highest standards with minimal disruption to principals, guests and household staff.

Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across all residences Diagnose and repair faults across mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems Maintain and monitor plant rooms, infrastructure and core building systems Respond promptly and efficiently to urgent issues, breakdowns and emergency call-outs Conduct regular inspections to proactively identify risks and prevent failures Liaise with and oversee external contractors, ensuring quality and compliance standards are met Maintain accurate service records, logs and compliance documentation Support installation works, upgrades and refurbishment projects Ensure full adherence to health & safety regulations and best practices Deliver a discreet, professional and high-quality service in a UHNW environment Technical Expertise Heating systems and boilers (e.g. Viessmann) Domestic water systems and pressurised cylinders Booster and circulation pumps Air conditioning and MVHR systems (e.g. Daikin, Fujitsu, Nuaire) Security systems including CCTV, alarms and access control Lighting systems (e.g. Lutron) Building Management Systems (e.g. Trend IQView) High-end kitchen appliances (e.g. Gaggenau, Sub-Zero) Electrical fault finding and general maintenance Plumbing and mechanical troubleshooting Candidate Profile Proven experience within UHNW residences, luxury homes, five-star hotels or high-end environments Strong multi-skilled engineering capability across a range of disciplines Able to work independently, taking ownership of tasks through to completion Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding ability Professional, discreet and highly trustworthy Comfortable working within occupied, high-profile residences Flexible and responsive, including availability for emergency support Qualifications & Experience Relevant qualifications in plumbing, electrical, HVAC or building services Experience within luxury residential, hospitality or estate environments highly desirable Additional certifications within engineering disciplines advantageous Personal Attributes Exceptionally detail-oriented and proactive Strong sense of ownership and accountability Professional presentation and excellent communication skills Organised, dependable and efficient Practical, solutions-driven mindset Calm and composed under pressure The Role Would Suit A highly capable, service-driven engineer who thrives in a luxury environment and takes pride in delivering seamless, behind-the-scenes excellence across prestigious private residences.
