Role: Live-out Chef

Schedule: Monday–Friday

Location: Cambridge, CB2

Salary: £200-£250 p/d (negotiable)

Contract: Ongoing, Self employed

Start: October 2025

We are seeking a talented Private Chef to prepare simple, fresh, and nutritious meals for a warm and welcoming family based near Cambridge CB2

The family consists of up to four adults and two children, and the Chef will be responsible for preparing both lunch and dinner each day; Lunch: served at 12:30pm; Dinner: served at 5:30pm (Chef to return at 4:30pm, with prep completed earlier in the day)

The focus is on healthy, organic cooking that is seasonal, flavoursome, and varied, without being overly fussy (healthy family-style cooking – soups, stews, proteins, and fresh seasonal dishes, [no pork])

The Chef should have a strong knowledge of organic ingredients and menu-planning, have ability to work independently, managing time between morning prep and evening service and be discreet, adaptable, and professional

This is an ongoing, live-out role, ideal for a Chef looking for stability without the need for extensive travel or heavy entertaining commitments

• Have a valid DBS check or be willing to obtain one

• Have excellent contactable references

• Be local to CB2 and ideally with own transport

• Have 3-5+ years’ experience working as a Chef within a private household setting
