A private household in Kensington is looking for an experienced and versatile Live Out Houseman / Butler / Cook to join their household. The role is Monday to Friday, 8am to 5:30pm, supporting the smooth day-to-day running of a 5–6 bedroom home.

The successful candidate should be confident across housekeeping, butler and cooking duties, with a professional and discreet manner and excellent attention to detail. A driver is essential, and the candidate must be comfortable around the family’s small dog. The successful candidate must also have availability for long-term international travel with the family.

Duties include:

assisting with the smooth day-to-day running of the household
maintaining high standards of presentation throughout the home
carrying out general housekeeping duties as required
cleaning and maintaining bedrooms, bathrooms and living areas
vacuuming, mopping, dusting and polishing
changing bed linen and making beds
laundering and ironing household clothes and linens
keeping wardrobes and household areas organised
providing professional butler service to the family and guests
setting and clearing tables
serving meals and refreshments
assisting with entertaining and hosting guests
preparing fresh home-cooked meals
planning menus and preparing family meals
shopping for groceries and household supplies
keeping the kitchen clean and organised
receiving deliveries and putting items away
running household errands
driving for household errands and appointments
liaising with tradespeople and household services when required
assisting with the care and organisation of the family dog
ensuring the home is well presented and ready for the family’s arrival
travelling internationally with the family for extended periods
providing reliable household support during international travel
maintaining discretion and professionalism at all times

Requirements:

Current Enhanced DBS

UK Work Permit

Valid Driver’s License
