Live-in Cook/Household assistant req in Gloucestershire, £40-45k gpa, Aug/Sept start

We have a wonderful opportunity for a confident, experienced and self-motivated Cook/Household assistant to join a beautiful private estate in Gloucestershire. This much-loved family home is shared by three generations and offers a warm, long term opportunity for someone who enjoys a rural lifestyle and takes pride in supporting a busy household.

Responsibilities include daily cooking for the family (breakfast, lunch and dinner), preparing meals for occasional dinner parties (10–12 guests), batch cooking and freezer filling, as well as household provisioning. You will oversee regular cleaners, manage the day to day running of the home, open and close the property, provide informal service, greet guests, liaise with tradespeople and monitor appliance maintenance schedules and home security (including alarms, doors, and windows).

The role also includes errands and general household support, so a hands on and flexible approach is essential.

You must be child-friendly and happy to work closely with the family to meet their needs.

Working 5 days per week (including some weekends), with flexible hours averaging 40–45 per week.

The position is live-in with a lovely three bedroom cottage attached to the main house included with all bills paid (partners and pets welcome).

Salary on offer is £40-£45k gpa depending on experience.

Role to commence in August/September.
