Position: Experienced Laundress – UHNW Private Household (Chelsea, London)
Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: Flexible (Monday–Friday or Monday–Thursday & Saturday)
We are seeking a highly experienced Laundress to join a UHNW household in Chelsea, London, supporting a young family. You will work alongside an established full-time housekeeper, focusing exclusively on all laundry-related duties.
Key Responsibilities:
Careful laundering, hand-washing, steaming, and ironing of high-end clothing, including delicates, couture, and bespoke pieces.
Proper care and storage of luxury garments, including seasonal rotation.
Organising wardrobes and drawers, maintaining garment condition and presentation.
Management of linens, towels, and household laundry.
Spot treatment, stain removal, and fabric-specific care.
Liaising with dry cleaners and overseeing any garment repairs when needed.
The Ideal Candidate:
Has extensive experience working with luxury garments, delicate fabrics, and designer wardrobes.
Previously worked in a UHNW private household or luxury hotel setting.
Highly discreet, reliable, and well-organised.
Strong understanding of garment care techniques and fabric-specific requirements.
Works well independently and collaboratively with the existing housekeeper.
Flexible with schedule (some Saturdays may be required).
