House Manager & Housekeeper/Cook couple, 4 bed hse, £80k+ gross

Experienced House Manager & Housekeeper/Cook Couple required to join a small team to help run a Listed Country House and Estate in West Berkshire.

Working weekends with 2 consecutive days off in the week. One weekend off a month.

House Manager.

To run the household, manage staff, assist with maintenance and repair of other properties on the estate. To work principally in the house. Organising contractors for Electricity, Plumbing, Wi Fi, Security, Lift Maintenance, indoor Pool Maintenance when needed, Tennis Court, and Pumps.

Competent , proactive and hands on with regard to Maintenance and repairs.. Eg keep gutters, drains, windows and cars cleaned, maintained and repaired. Ordering heating oil, weekly pool maintenance, weekly car maintenance and servicing . Hoovering tennis court. Auto Gate Maintenance. Supervising collections and deliveries.

Housekeeper/Cook

To help with the cleaning, some antique furniture and leather, carpets, wooden and stone flooring. Laundry and ironing. Cooking a family type healthy Mediterranean / English menu (weekends only).

To help harvest fruit and veg from the walled garden and orchard when required.

Jointly help with some dog walking and care when principals are away, and looking after hens.

Jointly help cleaning outdoor furniture.

Staff accommodation is a modern detached house with 4 /5 bedrooms,2 bathrooms, kitchen, dining room, private entrance and garden. Garage. Central Heating and log burning stove.

All bills paid. Council Tax ,Electricity, water, Super Fast Broadband.

Salary £80k+ gross pa (dependent on experience)

Pets and dependents considered for the right long term couple. 2 drivers preferred. Non smokers essential.
