Are you an experienced handyman looking to top up your current work? Or maybe someone winding down after years on the tools? Even if you're just starting out and want to learn — we’d love to hear from you.
The Kensington Handyman is a well-reviewed and growing local business working across West London (Kensington, Chelsea, Hammersmith, Fulham, Chiswick, Shepherd’s Bush and surrounding areas). We're known for being reliable, professional, and friendly — and we’re looking for someone who shares those values.
✅ What We’re Looking For:
- Part-time availability – work as and when needed, flexible jobs
- Must have own transport (car, van, or bike – whatever works)
- Must be based within 30 minutes of Notting Hill
- Speaks good English – clear, confident communication with clients is essential
- An honest, reliable, and practical person who takes pride in their work
- Experience in general handyman jobs like furniture assembly, fitting curtain rails/blinds, hanging shelves/artwork/mirrors, installing TV brackets, light fittings, painting, basic carpentry and odd jobs, minor plumbing ideal.
- Great with customers, tidy, polite and on time
💷 How It Works:
- You’ll be self-employed, paid per hour, part time working towards full time.
- No set shifts – you’ll be offered work as it comes in
- You can accept what suits your schedule
- Long-term opportunity for the right person
- Ideal for someone looking to stay local and steady
- Pay depending on experience per hour for each different job plus parking and materials.
- At the end of each day, you send an invoice for the work done that day and get paid straight away
