Days/Hours: ⁠Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

A private household in Norwich, Norfolk is looking for a highly experienced live in housekeeper to join their household on a full time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the home to an excellent standard and ensuring everything is kept clean, organised and well presented.

This role would suit a professional housekeeper with substantial private household experience who is confident managing a home independently. The ideal candidate will be meticulous, dependable and proactive, with excellent attention to detail and a genuine pride in their work. They should be comfortable around pets and happy to take responsibility for all aspects of the day-to-day housekeeping. A driver is essential.

Duties include:

maintaining the entire home to an exceptionally high standard
carrying out daily and detailed cleaning throughout the property
cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living areas
vacuuming, mopping, dusting and polishing all appropriate surfaces
deep cleaning when required
laundering and ironing clothes and household linens
making beds and changing bed linen
carefully handling delicate clothing, fabrics and furnishings
keeping wardrobes, cupboards and storage areas neat and organised
maintaining a clean and orderly kitchen
keeping household supplies well stocked and organised
taking responsibility for laundry and cleaning products
identifying and reporting any maintenance or household issues
running household errands when required
driving for household-related errands and appointments when required
working comfortably and respectfully around pets
using initiative to ensure the household runs smoothly
anticipating the needs of the household and maintaining high standards without close supervision
ensuring the property is consistently clean, tidy and presentable
