8.30am to 5pm- Monday to Friday

Essential Requirements: Previous Private Household or boutique hotel experience. Excellent attention to detail. Previous experience with fine fabrics and wardrobe care. Care of special finishes including marble, granite etc.

Driver with own car and excellent references required. Team Player and dog friendly

Newly created position for an experienced, proactive housekeeper to join a small team of 3 indoor staff. A modern 8-bedroom ( 4 in use ) property over 4 storeys, home to a family of 5 and occasional guests. The family have a number of small and medium size dogs so essential that you are dog friendly.

Duties are mainly general day to day housekeeping, cleaning, washing and ironing and assisting with walking the dogs in the gardens.

You will need an eye for detail, be well organised and be able to work within a small very friendly team, reporting to the head housekeeper/house manager.

You will have very good laundry skills, with previous experience in the care of fine and delicate clothes, handwashing, steaming and pressing.

The family members travel regularly and occasionally entertain small numbers of guests. You may be asked to run errands and help with household shopping and provisioning occasionally. There is no cooking required as a chef is employed

Fluent English is required, you will need to answer the telephone, take messages and arrange deliveries etc.

Salary circa £40,000 Gross per annum. ASAP start. (HU4304)
