I'll preface this review by advising I've employed several cleaners/housekeepers over the years, and this is not my first rodeo. I've had agencies, individuals, groups, pairs and a full-time housekeeper. I've seen and experienced the lot. From the ones that can barely communicate to the ones that turn up once never to be seen again to the ones that make it abundantly obvious, they'd rather be anywhere else than cleaning your home. Tracy impressed me from her first message. She was polite, friendly, informative, interested and understanding. She wasn't in the slightest bit pushy. Her written communication skills are excellent as are her verbal ones. She did her trial yesterday and without exaggeration, it took her 3 trips to get all her kit from the car. She came prepared for EVERYTHING! She had the largest assortment of cloths, sponges, dusters, brushes, bottles, jars, tubs, vacuums etc. etc. that I have literally ever seen in my life. This girl is serious about what she does, and she likes her products! Immediately upon entering our home, she brought such a sense of positive energy with her, I was a bit taken aback. I've had so many bad experiences with trusting the wrong people that I did not expect to trust or like someone so quickly. She has that ability. She exuded warmth, willingness and a genuine desire to do a fantastic job. I had to leave her to it as I had chores to attend to away from home. I came back to my home that evening and it literally sparkled with cleanliness. We have brass taps and a brass splashback, and they literally looked like spun gold. You could put your make up on in front of them. We also have a triple stainless-steel f/f combo which collects marks and fingerprints like a hoarder. It was immaculate. We have never been able to achieve that level of polish. You could smell the clean. Not a fake, chemical or perfume smell but a smell that was subtle and honest and clean. And talk about thorough. I thought I cleaned stuff pretty thoroughly, but I will bow down to Tracy's superior ability to get things REALLY clean. I feel like an oik when you compare my clean to her clean! A rank amateur compared to a professional! I am delighted to be able to offer Tracy a permanent role and she will have a job with me for as long as she wants one. My search for the perfect cleaner is over. I feel very lucky as it's like finding the Holy Grail. Employ her because I can guarantee you won't be disappointed. x
