Dog for adoption

Description

Bessie is a small 2 and half year old cockapoo who is very friendly and loving.
Due to a change of circumstances we are looking for a home for her.
Bessie would suit a retired person or couple who can spend lots of time with her.
Although she can be left alone, she much prefers to be with her humans and loves nothing more than cuddles on the sofa.
We feel like she will much happier with someone who can be with her the majority of the time.
Bessie is very calm and loves other dogs, cats & children…it’s safe to say she loves everyone!
She loves going for a walk and can sometimes get a little excited when you first put her on her lead but she walks nicely. She does get excited when she’s see other dogs because she just wants to play.
She is walked off the lead quite a lot so a little bit of lead training could be required to get her to walk without pulling. Saying this she is only small so isn’t very strong.
We will only consider people that can give her the time she needs as she may struggle initially being away from us as a family so she will need a lot of love and time spent with her.
We aren’t looking for a home where people are out a lot of the time and she is left for long periods.
This is why we ideally want a retired person or couple.
This is a very difficult decision and one we will only consider to give her a better life that she deserves.
