Description

I'm very aware that a DJ can make or break a party which is why I communicate with clients and listen to what they want so I get the music perfect for the event!!

I play 70's/Disco/80's/90's/House/ D&B/00's/Soul&Funk/R&B/Rock & Indie and all my music is uplifting and guaranteed to keep the dance floor busy. I'm a people person and my main aim is always to make sure the clients are happy and that their special event is one to remember! Growing up in the late 70's and through the 80's 90's and noughties I have a vast knowledge of music and can tailor my style to suit the needs of the event. I am also a trained pianist and drummer which combined helps me to make the right music choices and mixes! I have a passion for music and love to see people smiling and having fun whenever I am on the decks. As a TV producer of 20 years (Emma Barron) I also have the skills to conduct myself professionally, I have full kit including lights and I'm reliable and communicative and clear with all bookings and arrangements. I want to make your event as stress free as possible so you can have a good time.

Emma dj’d at our wedding at the end of July and she was amazing! Communication was seamless from start to end! Emma totally got our vibe after our initial call and the evening couldn’t have gone any better! The vibes were on point all night and she played music that appealed to everyone at the right time! Everyone had such a good time! I didn’t speak to any of my evening guests because I didn’t leave the dance floor the whole night. I think that’s a pretty good indication that Emma nailed it! I’d definitely recommend Emma if you want 10/10 vibes for your event! THANK YOU!!!!

Emma is absolutely amazing. She was listening carefully, super relaxed communication and she really rocked the house. Our guests loved the tunes on my birthday party. I can only highly recommend her!!!

Emma did a brilliant job as DJ at our party. She was quick and responsive to communicate with and made the time to fully understand the vibe we wanted. On the night she was amazing and played an eclectic mix of 90s and 00s tunes (as requested) - there was something for everyone. It made the night so much fun. I would highly recommend Emma.

DJ Barroness has such great energy and vibe and mixed things up with a smile. It was wonderful chatting to her about our event before the date - wedding drinks in a private room at the BFI (a week after our wedding) and the kind of music / evening we wanted. To help DJ Barroness understand us, we provided an already created playlist from our wedding evening meal the week prior for inspiration. We were asked if there were any specific songs to be played at certain moments in the evening too. We wanted to have the dance floor pumping 2 hours into the 4 hour set, but the best plans go out the window when London has lovely warm evening weather - felt like Ibiza in the city! DJ Barroness adjusted the tunes without any drama or negativity. The chill house tunes were playing on the BFI terrace and everyone was saying how they felt bad not dancing inside but we were enjoying the outdoors too much and bopping along, enjoying the Ibiza Summer vibes! DJ Barroness contacted the venue directly after an intro email, and arranged the necessary access for her to set up and not needing us to be there. An absolute pleasure to have had DJ Barroness play at our event (and any future events we have), and have already handed her details out to another guest for an event they are thinking about next year. Thanks for bringing the tunes to our event
