Vintage Johnson Bros “Pareek” style set of 2 nr lidded tureens and 1 nr bowl.
Johnson Bros produced their Pareek tureens from the early 1920s through the 1930s. The "Pareek" shape was a range of tableware items introduced by Johnson Bros in 1913, and it was available with various patterns during that period.
The pattern on these items features a delicate pink floral pattern with gold trim, being characteristic of the "Pink Original Pottery" produced by Johnson Brothers.
The two lidded tureens have an internal diameter of 7” and a depth of 2”
The open bowl has an internal diameter of 4.5” and a depth of 2.25”
The items are generally in a good condition and other than a small chip on the top edge of the bowl (see photo) there are no other signs of cracks or chips. However as would be expected by such vintage crockery there are signs of use and aging with some fading of the pink floral pattern.
