Up for sale is a beautiful set of four authentic 1970s Hornsea Pottery lidded serving dishes in the iconic "Saffron" pattern, designed by John Clappison.
This set features the gorgeous, warm caramel and orange geometric floral design, complete with matching glazed ceramic lids. What makes this particular lot special for collectors is the crisp, early date stamps on the bases, including a first-year production piece!

Condition:
Excellent vintage condition. The interiors are clean and bright white, the glaze retains a high-gloss finish, and the Hornsea England backstamps are perfectly crisp on the bases. No chips or cracks.
