Description
Extra Large Boleslawiec Slightly Concave Polish Art Pottery Serving Platter or Table Centerpiece.
Vintage.
Stoneware.
Decorative, Stoneware Serving Platter in Cobalt Blue, Light Blue and Mossy grass green.
Displays well at table for Serving (concave, will hold dishes with some liquid), but also as a stunning centerpiece (for seasonal fruit).
Functional, hard wearing stoneware for table (Boleslawiec stoneware is far stronger than Le Creuset stoneware, resists chipping).
Artistic, retired, and unique version of the famous Polish Boleslawiec Peacock Pattern but from fine artists/original painters at:
Ceramika Artystyczna, Boleslawiec, Poland
Beautifully and artfully hand painted Art Pottery (with some hand sponge stamped parts). Brushstrokes visible. Lovely to look at.
The blues and the green centers in particular are a lovely, unique hue not often seen.
Excellent condition (see photos)
Free of lead and cadmium.
