Description
Borge Mogensen Danish Teak extendable dining table, fully and professionally restored.
You'll notice I've included a number of images that describe the base and legs of this table.
Most every drawer leaf tables I've restored, and there's been hundreds, have soft wood frames, thin veneer and metal corner brackets.
No so with this one.
The veneer is around 4 mm thick, the frame is Oak, as are the corner blocks. The round legs that graduate to an oblique spheroid are double bolted to the frame.
An exceptional piece of Danish craftsmanship.
73 cm high, 90 cm deep, 140 cm long, each leaf adds 50 cm.
