Mounted to an Iron Gear Cog Base.
Office Work Desk Task Lamp or Side Table Light, circa 1950's.
We are delighted to offer this very cool mid 20th century work bench or desk lamp. Its a Thorlux grey enamel shade mounted to a steel tubular adjustable stem on a heavy weight iron gear wheel cog. Fabulous vintage industrial style task lamp with brass on/off bulb fitting with vintage style brown cloth covered twisted mains cable. Takes a standard UK bayonet bulb. This lamp comes directly from a recent estate sale & is sold in superb as found vintage condition. Some minor age related surface scuffs ( please see pictures for more details ). Its' been cleaned & is all in good working order so ready to use, love & enjoy once more. Overall display very nicely indeed & would make for a very cool interior design statement. It's style & design is typical of the mid century modern industrial period & this example dates to around circa mid 1950's.
