Early Wooden Stem & Black Enamel Anglepoise Maclamp.
Office Work Desk Task Lamp or Side Table Light,
circa 1960's.
We are delighted to offer this very cool mid 20th century table desk lamp. Retailed in Habitat for Terence Conran & known as the Maclamp. This is an early example with a wooden adjustable slatted stem & gloss black enameled base & shade. Fabulous vintage industrial style task lamp with brass switch bulb fitting. Its been re-wired with a vintage style bright red cloth covered twisted main cable. This lamp comes directly from a recent estate sale & is sold in superb as found vintage condition. Some minor age related surface scuffs ( please see pictures for more details ). All in good working order & ready to use, love & enjoy once more. Overall display very nicely indeed & would make for a fabulous interior design statement. It's style & design is typical of the mid century modern period & this example dates to around circa mid 1960's.
