This listing is for a beautifully crafted Antique Victorian Period console or desk table, made from rich, red toned mahogany hardwood. The piece is distinguished by a striking all round scalloped edge flanks and superb carpenter carved / turned legs. This antique piece comes direct from a recent grand estate clearance & is sold in excellent condition with some very minor age related bumps, scuffs and dinks to wood. This is a genuine Victorian period piece and would date nicely to the late 1860s. This piece has been crafted in the finest mahogany, robust and extremely sturdy. Raised on Turned carved tapering legs. The piece displays a stunning natural aged patina that can only be achieved with time. Lovely wide open wood grain. A very practical usable stylish desk or console table. Features a chamfered satin black edge rim which gives the piece a classic edgy look! Presents well and has a fantastic classic look. Some aged related surface scuffs and dinks as to be expected with a 100+ years old item. Please do study the pictures. It's been sympathetically cleaned, polished & is ready to use. Overall an exceptional piece of furniture in good display & usable condition. very very sturdy. It would make a fabulous interior design statement and would be a great home office desk . . . .
