Self-Employed Drivers and Driver's Mates Required for Immediate Start in Kirklees

Description

We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team, delivering fruits and food across the Kirklees area.

Compensation:

£15-£18 per hour, with flexibility to work on a full-time or part-time basis. Payment is issued daily for the first week, transitioning to weekly payments from the second week onwards.

Requirements:

Minimum age of 21 years.
Successful clearance of a criminal background check.
Pass a drug and alcohol screening.
GCSEs or equivalent qualifications preferred.
Possession of a valid UK or EU driving licence.
A clean driving history.
Specific vehicle licenses may be necessary for certain roles.
Previous experience in a similar role may be advantageous.
Commitment to following designated routes, schedules, safety protocols, and road traffic regulations.
Exceptional time management and customer service capabilities.
Physical ability to drive, as well as load and unload heavy items for prolonged durations.
Keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

Securely loading, conveying, and delivering items to clients or businesses, ensuring timely delivery.
Checking orders prior to and following delivery to guarantee completeness, accuracy of charges, and customer satisfaction.
Assistance in the loading and unloading of items from the vehicle.
Processing payments for deliveries.
Delivering outstanding customer service, resolving queries, and managing any customer issues.
Compliance with designated routes and adherence to scheduled timings.
Observing all traffic and transportation legislation to maintain a clean driving record.
Completing delivery reports and other relevant documentation.
Operating a range of vehicles and machinery, such as cars, lorries, and possibly forklifts, as required.
