3.5T Driver

Description

We are looking for a dependable and proactive driver to join our team within a busy manufacturing environment. This role involves transporting manufactured goods—including parts, components, and finished products—to customers, suppliers, or satellite facilities. You’ll also support our dispatch team with loading and unloading, ensuring timely, accurate, and safe deliveries that reflect our commitment to quality and service.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate a 3.5T vehicle to deliver and collect manufactured goods to customers and suppliers
Collect raw materials or parts from customers or suppliers
Load and unload items from the van, ensuring secure transport
Follow planned routes and schedules using navigation systems
Perform daily vehicle checks and report any faults or maintenance issues
Ensure all documentation (delivery notes / manifests / PODs) is completed accurately
Provide excellent customer service at all delivery points Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the vehicle
Follow company health and safety procedures and road traffic regulations
Assist within transport department other duties if required including housekeeping in despatch area
