Cased Set of 6 Sterling Silver Handled Dessert Knives – Elkington & Co., Sheffield 1931 - Art Deco
A smart set of six sterling silver handled dessert knives, each with a stainless steel blade marked:
“Stainless Deluxe – Made in England – Miners Ltd Sheffield – By Appointment to the Late King George V”
Made by Elkington & Co., with silver hallmarked Sheffield, 1931.
Each knife measures approx. 18 cm in length.
Contained in the original fitted black leatherette case, lined in silk and velvet, measuring 20 x 15.5 cm. One of the gilt-metal clasps is missing, but the case closes and secures well
