£15-17.50 per hour | West Sussex | Flexible regular work

Strawberries & Gleam is a growing premium natural home cleaning service, and we're looking for an experienced, reliable self-employed cleaner to work with us as we begin expanding across West Sussex.

We're looking for someone who takes genuine pride in their work, has excellent attention to detail and understands what it means to work respectfully and professionally in somebody else's home.

The role

Initially approximately 4–6 hours of regular cleaning per week, with the opportunity to accept additional client assignments as our customer base grows.

Initial work is expected around Lancing, Hove and Henfield, so your own reliable transport is strongly preferred.

Strawberries & Gleam provides the premium natural cleaning products required for our service, along with branded workwear.

We're looking for someone who:

• Has previous professional domestic cleaning experience

• Is reliable, trustworthy and has excellent attention to detail

• Is confident working independently in customers' homes

• Has a friendly but professional manner

• Has their own reliable transport

• Is already self-employed, or happy to operate on a self-employed basis

• Is able to provide references

• Has, or is willing to obtain, appropriate insurance

This is a self-employed contractor opportunity rather than an employed position. Contractors remain free to work with their own customers and other businesses and can accept or decline assignments offered by Strawberries & Gleam.

We find and manage the customers, provide the products required for the Strawberries & Gleam service and take care of the customer relationship - leaving you to concentrate on providing an excellent clean.

As we grow, there will be opportunities to take on additional regular customers, but there is no obligation to accept additional assignments and no guarantee of minimum ongoing hours.
