About the Role

We’re recruiting for an experienced Leasehold Income & Service Charge Officer to join a busy Homeowner Services team on a fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a varied role that combines customer contact, financial accuracy, and service delivery.

You’ll be responsible for managing leasehold arrears cases, negotiating repayment agreements, and providing excellent customer service while ensuring income targets are achieved. Alongside this, you’ll work closely with Finance and Service Charge teams to scrutinise and deliver accurate service charge estimates and actuals.

Key Responsibilities

Contact leasehold customers in arrears, investigate circumstances, and agree suitable repayment plans.

Signpost customers to internal and external support services where appropriate.

Liaise with Finance and Homeowner Services colleagues to ensure accurate service charge calculations.

Maximise income collection while delivering exceptional customer service.

Maintain accurate records and work across multiple systems to support team and business objectives.

About You

We’re looking for someone with:

Experience managing income collection and service charges in a housing, leasehold, or property services setting.

Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and housing/finance systems (OpenHousing, Ebis or similar).

Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and negotiation abilities, with confidence working with both colleagues and customers.

A proactive and reactive approach to managing workloads and meeting deadlines.
