Description

Customer Service/Production Assistant

We are looking for a very confident customer focused person who has experience in the jewellery industry.

You will be a friendly, confident person who works well under pressure, can find solutions to problems and can think on your feet. The office is fast paced and sees high volumes of calls and orders, so you need to remain calm with meticulous attention to detail.

You will be dealing with customer enquiries and quotations. It will mainly be requests from retailers to design bespoke pieces of jewellery or making alterations to existing pieces. Therefore, it’s important that you have an understanding of diamonds and gem stones, precious metals etc… This team has about 50 – 100 requests a week and you will see each project through from start to finish.

Responsibilities of the role include but not limited to:

* Supporting the Head of Bespoke on daily admin tasks

* Assisting with general bespoke enquiries and quotations

* Supplier liaison

* Quality control of CAD designs and finished products

* Condition reports of client’s own stones

* Ensuring timely delivery of orders in production

Requirements

* Fine Jewellery Experience is essential

* Knowledge of diamonds & gemstones preferred but not essential

* High level of quality control

* Meticulous eye for detail

* Excellent organisation and time management skills

* Excellent communication skills

Personal Skills

* Possess a professional and super-friendly manner

* Ability to handle a high volume of telephone calls, calmly and efficiently

* Meticulous attention to detail

* Never accepts average performance in oneself and others

* Passionate team player with a great sense of humour

Benefits

* Starting salary of £30k - £32k.

* 22 days holiday plus bank holidays

* Hours – 7.45am to 4.45pm

* Pension
