Description

The Accounts Payable Team Leader's responsibilities:

Oversee the accounts payable processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

Manage and mentor a small team, providing guidance and support as needed.

Review and approve supplier invoices and payment runs.

Resolve discrepancies and liaise with suppliers to maintain positive relationships.

Prepare and analyse accounts payable reports for management review.

Support month-end closing activities within the Accounting & Finance department.

Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Ensure adherence to relevant regulations and internal controls.Profile

A successful Accounts Payable Team Leader should have:

Proven experience in accounts payable within the industrial/manufacturing sector.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.

Previous experience managing or mentoring a team.

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in relevant accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong communication skills for interacting with internal and external stakeholders.Job Offer
