Description
For sale is a very good condition and low use Wahoo Kickr V5 2020 Smart Trainer with direct connection ideal Zwift app & online Zwift Racing. Plus can be used with all the other cycling app too. Direct connection will need a Local Area Network or Cable to the back of the WiFi hub or you can just use Bluetooth or Ant+ to connect. Direct connection stops you worrying about your wireless connection dropping during your virtual races and online group rides. KICKR Direct Connect provides a hard wired solution from your KICKR Smart Trainer to your internet router.
This was set up in the corner of my fitness suite and was used for warming up or before l went out running and some Zwift Racing or Group events. l'm now using a Watt Bike so will no longer need this trainer so just needs a new home.
l Have proof of the original receipt from Certini September 2022 was £799. And the Wahoo Direct Connect from Sigma Sport January 2023 was £68. (See last pictures)
This used trainer comes with original boxes, 11 speed Shimano 105 Cassette, the manual, sticker, brake spacer and adapters for thru-axle and quick release
N/B: Unfortunately the direct connection cable into the trainer can't be removed sadly not sure while but l don't want to break it removing it to get out. The trainer will still work perfectly on Bluetooth without the LAN cable being connected.
Also please note this V5 trainer doesn't have the firmware to run virtual shifting and l'm don't think Wahoo will ever do this on the V5 at the moment as l read up about it sadly.
