A major UK PLC is looking to appoint a Senior Development Surveyor to drive forward a range of commercial development and redevelopment projects across its diverse national estate. This is a client–side role offering real responsibility, visibility at senior level, and long–term progression.

Key Responsibilities: Identify and assess development and value–add opportunities across a varied commercial portfolio. Lead projects from feasibility and business case through to planning, delivery, and completion. Manage external consultants including planners, architects, project managers, and agents. Prepare and present board papers, appraisals, and planning strategies. Work closely with internal stakeholders including estates, legal, and finance teams. Support wider strategic initiatives around estate optimisation and portfolio growth. About You: Proven experience in commercial property development either client–side or consultancy. Strong understanding of planning, development appraisals, and project delivery. Commercially astute with a proactive, hands–on approach to driving value. Comfortable working independently and managing multiple projects at different stages. MRICS qualified or equivalent experience.
