Description
We are currently looking for a Roofer to work on the renewables team for a well–established social housing contractor, in the Oxford area. This is a self–employed position, where a company van and fuel card will be supplied from day one.
As the Roofer, you will be:
Installing Solar PV and associated worksIdentifying and rectifying roofing defectsSurveying and correctly placing slates/ tiles in isolated patchesRemoving old roof coverings and replacing full covering to all styles of roofsRe–bedding and renewing hip and ridge tilesPoint, repair, rebuild chimney stacks and re–bed/ renew chimney potsRepair mineral felt and asphalt flat roof covering
Ideally, we are looking to speak to a Roofer who has:
Qualifications in a relevant trade Relevant industry experience (within roofing renewables) A full UK driving license Their own tools
In return, the Roofer will receive:
22.30 per hourCompany van and fuel cardOvertime and call out available Potential to go permanent
