Salary: GBP50,000-GBP65,000 DOE + car and benefits package
Location: Leeds or Northampton
Job type: Permanent
Tradestech Recruitment is looking for a solid Intermediate or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our client's commercial team, based at either their Leeds or Northampton office.
Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, you will manage an allocation of infrastructure projects outside of HS2, with individual contract values up to GBP3 million.
This opportunity would suit a confident QS with a civil engineering background and experience managing works under NEC contracts.
Key responsibilities:
Manage the commercial aspects of your allocated infrastructure projects. Identify, price and manage variations and compensation events. Prepare and submit applications for payment (AFPs). Manage change, maintaining accurate records and contractual notifications. Monitor project costs and report on commercial performance. Work closely with the Commercial Director and project delivery teams. What we're looking for:
A capable Intermediate or Senior Quantity Surveyor, ideally with a civil engineering or infrastructure background. Experience working with NEC contracts. A good understanding of variations, compensation events, applications for payment and change management. Confidence managing multiple projects and your own workload. Based within commutable distance of either Leeds or Northampton. On offer: A permanent position with a salary of GBP50,000-GBP65,000, depending on experience, plus a car and benefits package.
