Rate: 35.50 per hour (Umbrella)

Contract: Minimum 3 Months

Hours: Full Time

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Neighbourhood Team Leader on behalf of a local authority in Welwyn Garden City.

This is an excellent opportunity for an accomplished housing professional to take a leading role in delivering high–quality tenancy and neighbourhood management services across a diverse housing portfolio. You will lead a team of Neighbourhood Officers, manage complex tenancy issues, drive service improvements, and ensure the delivery of excellent outcomes for residents.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the delivery of tenancy management services across the council's housing stock.Manage neighbourhood and estate management operations, ensuring high service standards.Oversee and resolve complex tenancy management cases, providing professional housing advice and guidance.Identify and implement service improvements to enhance neighbourhood management services.Monitor performance against key performance indicators and corporate objectives.Lead, supervise, coach and develop a team of Neighbourhood Officers.Manage staff performance and support professional development.Build and maintain effective relationships with residents, partners and internal stakeholders.Ensure compliance with relevant housing legislation, policies and procedures.Person Specification

To be considered, you will ideally have:

Significant experience within tenancy management, housing management or a related housing environment.Strong knowledge of current housing legislation, policy and best practice.Proven experience leading and managing teams.Experience managing complex tenancy and neighbourhood management issues.The ability to set objectives, monitor performance and drive service improvements.Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.A customer–focused approach with strong problem–solving abilities.The ability to work effectively in a fast–paced environment and make sound decisions.Essential Requirements

Full UK Driving Licence.Access to a vehicle for business use.What's on Offer?
