Labourer / Van Driver – Building & Construction

Location: yard based in Leighton Buzzard, with travel to sites across Milton Keynes, Luton, Flitwick and surrounding areas

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £16-£17

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Labourer / Van Driver to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for travelling to different building and construction sites, delivering and collecting materials, and assisting with general labouring duties. A full UK driving licence is essential, as you will be required to drive a company van between sites.

Key Responsibilities

Drive a company van to various sites, including Milton Keynes, Luton, Flitwick and surrounding areas

Load and unload building materials safely

Deliver materials, tools and equipment to site

Assist tradesmen and other site workers as required

Carry out general labouring and manual handling duties

Keep work areas, vehicles and equipment clean and organised

Ensure materials are transported and stored safely

Follow all company health and safety procedures

Carry out other reasonable duties as required

Requirements

Full UK driving licence

Previous labouring, construction or warehouse experience would be advantageous

Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling

Reliable, punctual and hardworking

Good attitude and willingness to learn

Able to work independently and as part xjnqpsq of a team

Good knowledge of the local area would be beneficial

Must be comfortable travelling between different sites
