Maintenance Carpenter
Due to sickness and holidays our customer is currently seeking a Maintenance Carpenter to work within a Hospital environment in Swanscombe
This is an excellent opportunity to become an integral part of a team committed to delivering Hard Services Facilities Maintenance within an NHS Estate environment.
Role Summary:
As a Maintenance Carpenter, you will be responsible for carrying out Planned and Remedial works within wards, communal areas, offices, break out areas and wash rooms. This role requires a positive person, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
Responsibilities:
Repair and maintain doors, skirting boards, installing new dry marker boards, towel rails, repairing canteen areas, easing locks, repairing / replacing skirting boards Supporting the wider engineering team with HVAC, mechanical, electrical and plumbing tasks as required Assisting the Fabric team with general building repairs throughout the hospital Ensure risk assessments are available and ensure safe working practices with consideration for the environment and others' safety. Requirements:
Good all round maintenance experience Carpentry qualified Previous experience within a hospital environment beneficial DBS Standard check required This is a great opportunity for someone to come in and develop within a growing hospital environment
