An established consultancy is looking to appoint a Project Management Director as part of its expansion into England, with Bristol identified as a key location for future growth. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused Project Management Director to establish a new regional presence, win work and build a successful project management team.

The successful Project Management Director will have a strong network across Bristol and the South West, with established relationships in the built environment and the ability to generate opportunities across residential, commercial, hotels, mixed–use and other property sectors. The Director will have significance influence over the Bristol office.

The Project Management Director's role

The Project Management Director will take a leading role in developing the consultancy's presence in Bristol. Initially, the focus will be on business development, client relationships and converting existing contacts into new project management instructions.

As the workload grows, the Project Management Director will recruit and develop a local team, creating a strong project management offering capable of supporting continued regional growth.

The Project Management Director will have significant influence over regional strategy, target clients and future recruitment, while working closely with the wider senior leadership team.

This would suit an entrepreneurial Project Management Director who enjoys winning work, developing client relationships and building a business rather than simply managing an established portfolio.
