Long–Term Work M5 Junction 10 Improvements

Danny Sullivan Group is looking for an experienced CPCS or NPORS Traffic Marshal to join the M5 Junction 10 Improvements Scheme, a major highway infrastructure project being delivered in partnership with Gloucestershire County Council and National Highways.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure long–term, ongoing work, working on a major UK infrastructure project with weekly pay.

The Details

Role: CPCS or NPORS Traffic Marshal

Location: M5 Junction 10 Improvements Scheme, Gloucestershire

Rate: 16.50 per hour PAYE

Working Pattern: 10 hours per shift

Pay: Weekly

Duration: Long–term / ongoing

About the Role as a CPCS or NPORS Traffic Marshal

As a Traffic Marshal, you will be responsible for safely managing vehicle and plant movements around the construction site and supporting the safe delivery of a major highway infrastructure project.

Your duties will include:

Marshalling vehicles entering, leaving and moving around site

Directing HGVs, plant and deliveries safely

Guiding vehicles and machinery into position

Managing vehicle movements in busy and restricted areas

Maintaining safe separation between pedestrians and vehicles

Communicating clearly with drivers, plant operators and site teams

Monitoring site access and maintaining safe traffic routes

Following site traffic management plans and procedures

Identifying and reporting hazards, unsafe conditions and near misses

Supporting the wider site team when required

Working in accordance with site health & safety procedures

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

Valid CPCS Traffic Marshal or NPORS with CSCS Logo

Highways Passport (Preffered)Previous experience as a Traffic Marshal / Banksman on a construction, civil engineering or infrastructure site

Experience working around plant and construction machinery

Good understanding of vehicle and pedestrian safety

Strong awareness of site health & safety procedures

Good communication skills

Reliable and punctual approach to work

Ability to work effectively as part of a busy site team

Experience working on major highways, civil engineering or infrastructure projects would be advantageous.

Successful candidates will be required to complete all necessary site, health & safety and project inductions before starting.
