Building Surveyor

Description

I am looking for a Building Surveyor to join a social housing and support services company that operate in and around the North Staffordshire region. The main role will be supporting their Responsive Repairs and maintenance teams, carrying out 6 surveys a day. The Building Surveyor will benefit from a 2k car allowance and hybrid working.

Building Surveyor duties:

To carry out in–depth surveys to properties, including diagnosing complex faults and failures, undertaking appropriate inspections as required across voids and responsive repairsInspect, measure, and schedule works issued including, pre–inspections and preparation of diagrams or drawings necessary to undertake the workTo prepare detailed specifications including Nat fed 8 rates, including the overseeing of contractors delivery of works, whilst managing quality, value for money, and progress, all in line with contract terms and customer expectationsComplete inspections and surveys you will carry out Damp Mould and Condensation Inspections and provide solutions that align with ombudsman recommendations (AWAABs Law)

Building Surveyor requirements:

2 years of post–qualification experience within a social housing maintenance surveyor role and across core tradesExperience using SOR'sSocial Housing experience Must be able to write up remedial actions within all reports HND/ HNC and health and safety qualifications
